Can anyone advise me as to what dealers ship handguns my mail to others? UPS and FEDEX are really quite expensive. I received a transfer by mail that was only in the range of $20. UPS cost me $69. last time, and I want to sell another handgun but can'tafford that kind of shipping. Please contact me by PM if you have any info in this area.

I've shipped a pistol through fedex before. Have to take a copy of the FFL you are shipping it to. And like Ridgeway said it has to be overnighted.

I would find someone with an FFL that would ship it for you. A lot of times, they will do it for the shipping cost plus a little extra for their trouble.

My thought would be to visit a few gunshops in your area. Just ask them if they would ship for you and how much they would charge. Do a little shopping around.

It was stated that a dealer could mail it for $12. That may be true,
but without ins, or tracking. It also has to be how much it weighs,
where it is going, how long it takes. I was going to ship a package
(non gun) to Indy from Hobart reg mail and it would take 7 days.
$.30 more went PM in 3 days.
