So I think it's time to move on from my Glock 26, and I'm wondering what would be a good replacement?

I just sold mine for a Beretta Nano. Both are fine weapons, I just wanted the ease of carry the Nano offered (at the sacrifice of less firepower due to the single stack magazine). To each his own. For EDC, get what you know can fit into your lifestyle. If it's not on you all the time is not the right weapon.

I like the M&Ps. I would like to get a G19, but I'm not opposed to going outside the family. The nano's are too small for me. I like the capacity of the Glocks and M&Ps, maybe an XD?

If you just want something different for the sake of it proceed with caution. And keep the 26 if you can when buying a second pistol. Seller's remorse sucks.

I really want a G19, so I think I can keep from worrying too much about seller's remorse. Buuut, most gun shops now are selling Glocks for about $600...

PSS has had Gen 3's for $499 recently. Just picked up another 23 there recently. Bradis & Beech Grove Firearms have similar pricing. When I was hunting down my 23 each of those places had 19s at different times I called.

On another note, we can't make a good recommendation without knowing what you don't like about the 26.

the only thing i don't like about it is the length of the handgrip, which the 19 would fix...

I'll replace it with a LOVELY Jennings J22. That way, you'll have extra pocket space, and I'll finally have a 26. By the way, this is DeCd's evil twin, as we all know he's a Sigaholic and hates the dark side.
