Im just curious if anyone has ever sold reloading components and not regretted it.

Ive sold components 3 times in my life. Each and every time within 1 year ive said "man I wish I could buy those back for what I sold them at"

From this day forward if I have somthing I dont think ill ever use, its going in the casket with me.:xmad:

near Bedford on a whole lot of land.
I occasionally sell small amounts to friends during shortages, but generally I don't sell consumables. I have sold brass I didn't need either because I would never get that caliber, or like my recent .223/5.56 sale, I have more than a lifetime supply at the rate I shoot.

Primers, powder, bullets, never unless it is a friend who is out and there's none in stock anywhere. It'll get used and just cost more when I buy.

I sell stuff all the time now since I have seen my in-laws basement. Looks like an episode of horders. We generally have a garage sale once or twice a year. My rule of thumb is you have not put a hand on it in one year it is gone. Not regreted any of my sales yet. As far as it goes for reloading I try to trade things I am not using for other things I am. Like swaping brass for primers or whatever. I recently had a relative call me and need some primers and I just put them back on my shelf. At this point in time things are getting scarce and prices are going up. I paid 40 dollars per thousand on Win primers last weekend that are normaly 30. Any reloading or gun stuff I would hang on to right now or sell for profit if not using.

Yep, a while back sold my 38 special and then sold all the brass and bullets. Made money on all of it but then went and picked another 38sp and started collecting 38sp brass and bullets again. Just real glad I didn't sell my equipment.

During the last run I traded 1k SPP for 1k .38 SPL brass. So I did OK. What I really need right now is bullets and powder.

Brass and bullet prices are killer since 2008. Before that I was buying sweepings from the Magtech factory for $15-$20 per K.
