so I have a P6, and I llove it, a P220 and I thoughouly enjoy it, and I have hade a sig P226r-22 for two weeks and I Can't find a place to shoot in North Dakota.

THe reason I say screew sig is that now I have one sig that I haven't shot yet, and need to ge the 9mm slide assembly and some 226 mags. I also have a P 229 elite in layaway at Gander MTn. in Fort Wayne. and I still want more. Eyeing the sig 522 when it gets released, and I really want a Sig P226 X-5 tactical.

I also got the opourtunity to play with a newer sig 556 than mine, they have slimed down the front sight blade and hooded it, added a detachable HK style drum rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation with preset peep settings for 100, 200, and 300, yards or meters.

seems like everytime I turn around they are coming out with another product that I want or need. which only slows me down from getting more ammo, mags for guns I have , a glock 20 ( which I need to live) and eventually a Voltor Fortis( Vltor’s Weblog ).

    anyone else have similar problemn?

I got a Sig P6, too. I'm ready to sell it. The two-part feed ramp just doesn't like 147gr HP. Choked consistantly with even factory mags. A search on the net told me I need to get a P225 barrel, which probably would cost me more than half what I paid for the gun...

    Screw Sig. Pretty funny.
I'm with ya there Jeremiah. I just picked up my 6th Sig Friday. A P220 Carry Elite. Of course it's currently my favorite handgun. ;)

Not sure I understand Bigum's love for Sigs and affection to Glocks. You can't be a Ford AND a Chevy lover can you? :) (not sure that's the best comparison)

I have fallen OUT of love with the glocks and fallen hard for the sigs.

My stock CPO 226 has a better trigger than ANY glock or XD. I tested out the XDm and it still feels like a spray bottle.

    How about those dark elite's?:rockwoot:

I traded my G19 for a P226 the other day.

This is the first Sig I have ever owned. I really like the look and feel of this gun, can't wait to get it to the range.

I have carried SIGs on the job for the past 16 years with never a hiccup. That said, I buy GLOCKs for off-duty. Both great systems.

The truth is, the GLOCK just fits my hand better, is a lttle lighter, holds more rounds and points more naturaly for me. But I never feel at a disadvantage with my SIG 229 in .357 SIG!
