    I've framed a bunch of stuff with a Paslode cordless and would by again in a heart beat. However, I would be interested in trying out one of the new Dewalts because I heard they don't use gas...

    I recently bought an el cheapo tool shop brand from menards for $80 on sale ($100 regular). It worked just fine for the shed I built. Add in a $20 box of nails, and you are out the door for less than half of one of the bigger brands nailers alone.
    For the little bit I use it, it works for me.

    Maxx super framer xt. Gotta be the best lightweight framing nailer I've ever used. Next in line would be anything Senco makes.
    Agreed. I really like Maxx.
    my Dewalt is good to. I just picked up a Porter Cable when it was on sale at Menards for $139 minus 11%, can't beat it for the price!
