Without an impact berm, watching vapor trails at long range is probably the easiest way to get a shooter (who doesn't have a zero or is having trouble) on paper.

It will also give you an idea of how flat a particular round shoots compared to others.

For some real fun, take a flashlight out at night to someplace really dark. Then turn on the flashlight and see if you can follow the beam as it projects outward.

While taping a buddy of miine shooting his 223 we caught the wave of the bullet on camera trveling at a 200 yd target. We thought that was cool.

Got bored squirrel hunting once and was watching a titmouse fly off a branch and come back. Kept it up. Finally figured he was catching mosquitoes. Decided to test his eyesight with a .22 and sure enough, every time I would shoot past him, he would watch the bullet. Never could catch it though. For me, if it ain't cb caps, I ain't got a chance.
