savage 10fp 308

im in the market for a savage 10fp with a 24 in" heavy barrel chambered in 308. Trying to shave some cost so I dont need a scope, rings or base i can add those once ucle sam gives me my refund lol

Just throwing this out there:

Dick's sporting goods has a special package model called 11VT; it essentially is a 10FP with 24" varmint contour barrel, accutrigger and bottom bolt release DBM. 11VT can be had in 223 or 308.

I have read the DBM is polymer/plastic, but have not verified that myself.
