Saudis ask for aid if world cuts dependence on oil

I dont care what they beg for, the part that excites me is that they are having to even consider this. There is hope that they can no longer rely on "gods gift". reducing our dependency on oil from the middle east is one of the few things I can support obama on

Even if it doubles or triples your current energy bills?

We should start helping them right now, don't wait until they have all the money in the world.

We could help them learn a new occupation such as glass blowing. In fact I'd suggest we turn all the sand in Saudi Arabia to glass tomorrow at dawn.

I'd vote for this ^ , screw them and their camels .

Well..... there IS an alternative.....

If they start running short on cash because folks quit buying their products......
Drop the bomb there, and turn it into the world's largest glass parking lot!
Kids will tell their parents "Dad, Mom; screw Disneyland - we want to go see the parking lot!"

Well, maybe not....... but it would still be cool!

However, in today's world, it would probably be the parking lot for the world's largest WalMart and Sam's club complex..
