Here is the CS40 that arrived yesterday. The holster wear is obvious but I expected more internal wear. This gun looks like someone bought it, put it in damp leather and left it for 15 years. It is super tight and looks nearly unfired.

My plan was to convert it to 10mm with the factory barrel but now I am thinking that I need to see if I can get a barrel blank or something. Not sure I want to ream out a near new low production CS40 factory barrel?

I'd probably see if you can find at least another factory 40S&W barrel before you attempt anything with the one you've got.

Ok, I don't even know which models are 3rd gen, etc but posting this here in case anyone is interested. Not sure if this is a decent price, etc or not.

    They also have some 910's

For a 915 sure I would buy but not a 910 too much plastic.

Expanded the SW 3rd gen family by one 5906 tonight. Probably paid too much and I never really believe the LNIB hype but hoping it’s a good one.

    Status update? Just curious.

Haven't done anything yet. We went on vacation a few weeks back so was focused on not spending any money on gun stuff. Once I sell a few things laying around and get properly motivated I will get the slide refinished and start polishing the frame areas to slick it up.

Nice! Restores my faith that 99.9% of the people are conscientious.

I have wood grips on my 4566...want them? LOL!

Right now I plan on running it stock, or maybe finding NOS grips for it, if I can. Probably my last purchase for a while, unless some real rare bird shows up cheap

If anyone is looking at the 457's on GB I have a bid on one that starts sub $250. I showed my wife the ad and it being my birthday
yesterday she said I could bid. I asked her what the max would be as I told her what I paid on the 1st on and she gave me a limit. I'm not sure if this is a test or a blessing to bid?
