IMO, that's a wrong question, possibly even an inadvertent strawman.I would just like to know how many think that whatever the Ukraine has done before does it justify what Putin is doing now?
I disagree. It's very important to see who posts what and makes which conclusions.I quit paying attention to a lot of media things posted. I might look at some, but I have no way of knowing if the what, where, when, who, why and how is being accurately portrayed. It's a fool's errand.
I appreciate your well-reasoned position, but it was pretty much just an informal polling asking the question was Putin justified in taking unilateral action against Ukraine? Putin obviously thought it was. Maybe you agree/Maybe not.IMO, that's a wrong question, possibly even an inadvertent strawman.
First, it's not a K-12.
Second, "Ukraine" did nothing wrong, of course, except following the lead of the puppeteers (as cringy as it sounds) and electing Poroshenko and then Zelensky government.
For one, said puppet government has been committing war crimes against the LDNR people for the past 8 years, and nobody on this forum really gave a sh*t -- and rightfully so.
Then the Ukrainian government allegedly has been negotiating the construction of Western military bases on their territory.
But I digress, you and I, dear @KG1, have already discussed this in other posts at relative length.
Long story short, IMO it's a proxy war, and sh*t has just got real.
I was pretty much talking about battle damage, captured soldiers, phantom jet pilot clips and what they claim to be. I quit making conclusions about those especially when a lot of them have been proven to be inaccurate portrayals.I disagree. It's very important to see who posts what and makes which conclusions.
This is VERY telling.
For example, most recently there was a whole thread about a touching speech by Indiana's own Victoria Spartz. Victoria, as it turns out, is a lying little c*nt.
This video speech informed me about her aptitude, willingness to take sides or to knowingly lie.
(She would be the one whom I would call a locust, dear @BugI02, by the way. She is the one who is putting America last, along with all of those m**herf**kers who put Ukrainian pins on their several-thousand-dollar suits paid for by AMERICANS.)
But I digress. Just one example, there are many more.
The only win is if both of them get killed along with all the other corrupt a-holes. "Let's get it on!"Maybe they should settle things the old fashioned way. Both Putin and Zelensky should put on some armor, equip themselves with sword, shield, and spear, and fight to the death in the public square. Winner’s side wins.
A no glove MMA match to death....Maybe they should settle things the old fashioned way. Both Putin and Zelensky should put on some armor, equip themselves with sword, shield, and spear, and fight to the death in the public square. Winner’s side wins.
For the win!!Ask yourself "can I change any of this" if the answer is no then have yourself a worry free day.
Are you sure about that?
The list of countries who have not condemned Putin is larger than the ones who have, and account for more of the population of earth.
China,India, and Brazil have not condemned Russia invading. No country other than Libya in Africa has. Not a single US ally in the middle east has either. Not even Israel has condemned the invasion.
Our southern neighbor Mexico is not participating in sanctions of any kind, and is allowing flights from Russia and encouraging more trade with them, and has actually supported Putin.
To say Putin is hated by the world because you only see one view is not a good thing.
Has Russia used any Mig 31's in Ukraine war yet? Isn't that supposed to be their most advanced mass produced fighter?

Is it supposed to be comparable to the F-15? The F-15 is undefeated iirc it's 104-0.Like the Mig-25 it came from, it's not much of a fighter. More of a special purpose interceptor. It's still an impressive airplane.
It's really not close to anything in the US arsenal, different design philosophy. In the west we like our planes to do different things if they can. The Mig-25 was designed specifically to intercept the US XB-70, when that bomber was cancelled the plane was short of it's main mission, but still had some uses. High speed fast acceleration, but really short range and little turning ability. It was designed to get to a target in it's range quickly and launch missiles. The Mig-31 does the same things, but has downward looking radar and greater range, probably to pick up and stop cruise missiles instead of a high flying high speed bomber. Turning in a dog fight is a no go.Is it supposed to be comparable to the F-15? The F-15 is undefeated iirc it's 104-0.
