NICE! Now all you need is a 2" .357 and a .327 Fed Mag, and you'll have the full set! :)

Actually, I am far from having the full set. There is a .32 H&R mag. version. The .327 Federal Magnum will also fire the .32 H&R mag. but they are different sku numbers. Plus, there's the 3" .357 and one with full hammer. Also, there is a 2.25" .22lr and the .357 that has a warning on it that it can only be used with 125 grain bullets. The list goes on...

Youg ot it, Corky! I bought it for $450 and traded ti even up to a collector for the CCH'ed and Ivoried 4 5/8" OMBH. I'd wanted a short OM .45 since I started building my NM .45, but figured I'd never find one. Lucked into the 7 1/2" and posted some pics on a sixgunner board. A fellow I know from PA is a big Ruger collector and he told me it was worth around $12-1400! I forget the exact numbers, but somehwere around 900 made in that configuration. One of the rarer of all Ruger Single actions and it was in pretty good shape! The customized shorty barreled .45 I traded for isn't worth as much to a collector, but the money invested in it is probably more than I'd have ever got out of the brass framed model. I love the CCH and the ivory is amazing. Only think I'm thinking about changing is a Belt Mountain #5 basepin, and that's just for looks. It's a great shooter and a lovely gun that will be passed down to my son!
