Ruger is doing it yet again

With all the rumurs spreading about how Ruger is going to unveil another new gun at SHOT I thought id start another contest. Who ever guesses correctly gets repped from me and whoever else wants to participate. So whats the guesses.


SHOT releases are normally reserved for bigger stuff, normally the small new calipers and model upgrades are done through out the year. So my guess is going to have to be a 1911 variant. Im not crazy about the idea personally, but there long overdue for making one.

Well, on Ruger's website they just announced the compact version of the SR9, the SR9c, so maybe that was it?

Looks pretty nice too. It even borrows the full grip-extension mags of the XDsc.

Hummm, I have a harder time going with this choice, they have the 345 already......

A polymer framed SR1911, maybe a double stack.

Kimber has/had one of these but I don't think it did very well.

My sep Dads second wife’s son said he was at his local gun shop and overheard the former owners nephew saying he knew a guy that used to sell cookies at the Ruger factory and he said Ruger would have a table at the 1500 with some of these on display to get a reaction from the shooting public. Did anyone else hear about this?
