Ruger 10/22 scope

I know this has been asked plenty of times but I'm on my phone and can't search. So I need some suggestions on scopes for my 10/22. even a link to a previous thread will do.

I use either a Simmons 22 Mag with an AO or a Famous Maker with an AO for the 25 10-22's that I own

I have a Bushnell Banner 3-9x on my 10/22. I like it, but if I were to do it again I would go with a Mueller APV Mueller APV Rifle Scope 4.5-14x 40mm Adjustable Objective APV Reticle Matte - MidwayUSA
The APV is all the rage over at rimfirecentral

Not sure what brand they are, but Meijer in Avon has scopes on clearance right now.

For the 10 years that I've owned mine, mostly a 4X scope. I never shoot over 50yds with it. I sometimes alternate with a red dot sight.

It never hurts to have the best glass. Leupold would be my first choice with Nikon not far behind. 2X7, 3X9 range is nice. Pricey stuff buy you only need to buy it once that way.

I prefer to stay away from the fixed power scopes because for a .22 it will be nice to be able to zoom in and out for different ranges/animals you will be shooting.

You can't beat the Bushnells for the price-I have had several on my .22's over the years and never had a problem and they are very reliable.
