Freed prisoner
I was at "Adult Swim" at the Children's Museum Saturday night. We saw a bunch of young people acting cool, and then we saw this couple.
I talked to them for a bit assuming they were married. Turns out each had been married over 50 years to their spouses and were both widowers. She said she cried for two years when she lost her husband and then a friend invited her to a dance club function. This man was the first one to ask her to dance and they've been dancing ever since.
He had the biggest grin on his face while she was telling the story and kept winking at me. I told them they were an inspiration to the young couples out there and she was honored to hear that.
There's been several marriage and divorce threads on here. Look to couples like this for advice and role models in relationships.
