Except when it comes to America (& it WILL if drastic measures aren't taken very soon), there won't be anyone to bail us out. As bad as things are in Greece, it will be exponentially worse when America hits the end of this pyramid scheme.

i have a friend in greece. they allow the military & I think former military (thats everyone there) to take home their weapons as long as they are locked up because they are afraid of an invasion again from turkey. it could get VERY interesting if this blows up much bigger.

Europe has a much bigger issue than just Greece. Greece is but the tip of the iceberg. I was reading Forbes Magazine today about the European PIIGS (that is what they called it) Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain. These countries are all on the verge of debt defaults and they continue to on entitlements.

Greece actaully decreased spending and increased taxes last year.

The net result was higher deficits, because the new taxes continued to slow economic growth, and the cuts weren't much to talk about.

That is why they're back at the table.
