No-one , prisoner or guard, deserves to be assaulted or raped in prison. These guys did entirely the right thing and should be commended for their actions.

If that guy makes it back into general population I wouldn't expect him to live long enough to serve his complete sentence. The prison population usually to a point polices themselves and they have very low tolerance for child molesters and rapist.

The perp was already serving 10 years for raping a 13 year old. Suprised he is still alive.

I was thinking the same thing... It's great the inmates stepped in like that.
