Surely the ‘just traveling through’ laws still work to exempt us from these mag restrictions?

Doesn’t apply to me as I travel to IL for work. I stay in hotels over there quite a bit. I can have a handgun in my truck with my IN LTCH. I can also have a handgun in my hotel so long as it is transported into the room legally.

I no longer travel with an evil black rifle and my handgun is less than 15 rounds.

    In the country, hopefully.
My client forgot to add "Asking for a friend."
Well, I wasn't going to drag you into it but since YOU JUST DROVE THROUGH ILLINOIS (twice) WITH $12,000 WORTH OF GUNS AND AMMO, MAGS LOADED INCLUDING A LOADED AR BEHIND THE SEAT AND ALL MANNER OF PISTOL MAGS LOADED AND PISTOLS IN CONDITION 1 I thought it might be worth finding out. You know, for next time.
Should I add nitrous to the truck?
