I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor.
I admit it can be a bit dark and twisted at times....... but........

Looks to me like a so-called news reporter is trying to make the news, not report it. He isn't doing an interview he is lobbying a position, "The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." I find the video funny and find myself rooting for the Senator while finding the other guy semi-obnoxious, perhaps deserving a dismissive colorful metaphor.

Walter Cronkite would be appalled and thinking this "interview" was anywhere close to the spirit of true journalism.
