It is a very sad thing to see one of the really good guys go down. It almost seems kinda gruesome to hear about the organ harvesters taking their inventory, but at least he will live on through other people. What a good guy! I hope the bad guy that shot him gets everything that he deserves.

I just now found out about this. I haven't watched any tv, and this is the first I've been online all week. I'm so sorry to hear this happened. I hope he R.I.P. while patroling the streets of heaven and being guardian angel for another officer. My prayers are out to the family and his fellow officers.

Been reading alot on that site. Heres one that caught my eye.

Officer John Faber, killed in 1988 in the line of duty.

Officer Faber was struck as he attempted to arrest the suspect, who was then shot and wounded by other officers on the scene. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to seven years in prison.

I watched the parents news conference at 11:30am. Both parents are police officers. The spoke eloquently about their son. RIP Officer Moore, and prayers for his family and brothers and sisters who wear the blue.
