    Yeah it has the dovetail. I've decided to forego all the headaches and just go with the milled dovetail and get back to shooting it. It does seem like a bad decision to put a pic-rail on it. The metal is thin and SOFT! I didn't have any dovetail rings sitting around but I've got them on the way.
    As many problems as you have with guns, maybe you should learn the gunsmith trait or be real nice to a gunsmith delivering beer and food often! ;)

    Ive got it! YOU ARE JUST BAD LUCK. Stay away from me especially during a storm! :):
    You have no idea how right you are! I've had my basement flood about 7 times during storms, every time for a different reason. The best part is that the basement was finished, original 70's style when I bought and had never had a drop of water in it. Stayed dry for 35 years or so until the first year I bought it.
