WHAT: Remington part# F246828 Marine Magnum 18" Barrel
DESCRIPTION: Like new barrel from the Police Marine Magnum. One issue with it. The front sight is cocked to the right very slightly.
LOCATION: Near Kokomo
PRICE: Value of $175 but trades only, not for sale.
TRADE: Only trade interest is for the 18" standard Marine Magnum barrel with the bead front sight.
I know these are hard to find, and apparently so are the standard bead sight barrels. Obviously from the above info Im hoping to trade this to someone looking for the RS barrel instead of the bead sight barrel.
The sight base is brazed a few degrees off center, not the insert. I doubt most people would care, but my OCD about such things means it sticks out like a sore thumb to me every time I use it. It doesnt affect accuracy to the extent that once the sights are set, it will hit where its aimed, and its not off much. The rear has more than enough adjustment to account for it, and the front might be able to be drifted over just a bit to make up for it as well.
