I saw all that. lookd like an erector set slapped together with a wire and bolt on the trigger. I gathered it was the bracing used for garage doors.... failed to notice the couple of screws (meaning wood was involved)

The lighter objects are wood or plastic, the darker are metal. The mechanism is wood slats with metal bolts as pivot points.

    Story please! :):

Wait - Let me get some tater-tots and ketchup first.

    Ok - GO!

I work for a meat processing plant. Because of sanitation, we are required to wear rubber gloves. Due to my location on the processing line, I also wear cotton insulation gloves under the standard rubber ones. Well, it was towards the end of a long work day and the outer rubber glove was a little bit stretched out. I work at the end of a metal conveyor belt line that pulls the product down and into a shoot that actually pulls the skin off the product. The conveyor belt got a hold of my rubber glove and drew my hand into thiat skinning mechanism. Because of the insulation glove under the rubber ones, I could not get out the rubber glove to slip off. I felt the mechanism crush my index and starting to grab hold of my rt hand ring and pinky fingers. I yanked my hand out and that was the end result.

Wow, Nippr. That's tough. Not sure on the first one. Looks like a Yamaha from the pipe. Barret or Garret or something like that?
The Honda 15? I'll guess Marty Smith. #6 on the Suzuki is the great one, Roger DeCoster. I got his Champion sticker at Red Bud, not Roberts. I got a sticker from Kenny at the Indy Mile...duh! Honda #7 might be Gary Bailey? The guy riding my YZ 400 is Hurricane Hannah, I think.

    How'd I do?

That, uh, doesn't look too fixable.

It wasn't, they amputated to the first joint behind the nail. Sucks that it was my trigger finger but now I've learned to shoot with my middle finger very well. Enough time has gone by to were I can again shoot with that index but only 1911s with tunable trigger. Tell you all what, that was the most painful thing I ever felt. My woman even says, she thinks I got child delivery beat with that one.

Here's the thread I started when it happened. And yes, I took all the pictures myself.

Conveyor almost grabbed my arm. Fortunately the glove came off. Nothing to do that to my fingers though. Just woulda pulled me till I either hit the guards, or the rollers.
