I like the replaceable lumber part.
I have made a few steel,used plenty of old real estate signs,and had a wire set up.It never failed that someone would shoot the wire or steel.It has to be one of murphy's laws.

I always have a spare 2X4 cut to length when we us that target. Amazing how many holes folks will put in the wood....
