I've never seen anything like it here and I hope I never do again. Unless you see it first hand in some of the bad areas, you really can't grasp it.
I drove through an area today with some green grass and crops that looked good. 2 hours away, nothing is green and the crops are a loss.

I drove to St Louis last week. It doesn't look any better over that way.

My family said the grass is scorched and this sad yellowish brown color

My dad, uncle and brother have each told me independent of the others that they have stands of corn that won't yield much over what it will take to pay for running it. Dad needs ~70 bushel corn to break even and doesn't think he'll get it. Last year he had 185 bushel corn.
