Yeah those Broadview Security commercials always make me laugh. What a joke, talk about a false sense of security. I have nothing against alarm systems, and I think they are a great system as long as people are aware of their capabilities. They are not going to protect you yourself that much, but they are a great tool to help protect your property while you are not home.

Top of the line locks are the best place to start. Even if they come in through a window at my house, they are not going out through a door. Imagine being chased by a dog, and guy with a gun, and then finding out that the door you chose cannot be opened from the inside.

This was only a 2 minute job but something like this? If I was actually to make one I'd put more time into it and probably design it a little different.

Very nice! Here's one I put together a while back...

Started with this picture I pulled from an email
    home-security.jpg

    And turned it into this...
    home-security_NRA_Edition_small.jpg

    home-security_NRA_Edition.jpg

Not sure where I found this one. It was just in my pictures folder...

Why exactly do you think she would go to prison?
    Several reasons...

She just shot the meter reader!

Or the neighbor who saw the car parked out front or who saw a guy walking around the house and came over to check on her.

Or where all those bullets that didn't hit him ended up. If I look out my front door I can see the back and sides of about4 houses on the street that crosses the cul-de-sac I live on. Just my :twocents: however. I understand that it's just a commercial in which she shot the right guy and all the bullets that missed the target fell harmlessly to the ground.

I just think those actions in real life would be pretty irresponsible. I don't know if I'd ever personally shoot through a door (never say never)...again, just my opinion. Feel free to do as you need though.
