So if I invite a police officer to park on my private property because I have observed a person or persons routinely committing a crime and I want them to witness this act, are they considered trespassing?

Perhaps the owner of the parking lot they were in has asked them to park there to crack down on drunk drivers that have caused damage to their property or something similar.
