The mounts are different. Most bolt up to the scope itself so if you want to go between the two you can if you have the AK and the PSL mounts.

Should have been more clear. I have a psl and am looking to take the scope and mount off that are on now, and am wondering if I purchase a scope mount/ side mounted rail if it will work on the psl.

    Thanks

The top rail is a PSL the bottom rail is an aftermarket AK47 rail.
I think this is what you are asking.

If you are wanting to take the side rail off of a PSL & mount on some thing else, you would need to know that they are spot welded on in addition to the rivets that you see. You will need to cut up the receiver or the rail to remove it.

I have a POSP 12x42 illuminated coming for my PSL. I was asking this same question a few weeks back I had one 8x off a AK47 I had and thought it would fit and it did but it was canted was to the left and tight. So I ordered another for a PSL specifically.
