Previous Service Weapon Problems?

What kind of problems if any could I run in to if a gun is previously used by law enforcement. Obviously some holster wear will be unavoidable. Just wondering if there are things to look for.

Most LE pistols are not shot a whole lot and just get some holster wear.

It's been a while on a used police revolver, but it can be applied to a private sale or buying from a pawn shoppe, or at the Indy1500.

I saw a S&W Model 64 at the 1500 last month with a stamp on it from a PD, but can't remember which one. It was in pretty good condition.
