Preferred firearm?

Dont own a shotgun.

Depends on the situation. Obviously a pistol is best for everyday carry. A shotgun can not be beat for up close and personal. The rifle is best for reaching out and touching someone or something.

I voted rifle. I love my pistols but I really enjoy the precision of the process of shooting a rifle.

Because of where I live I prefer pistol. If I had access to long open ranges I would be a rifle person to be sure

I agree with JohnP82, I prefer a long gun, but I'll shoot anything and enjoy it. And pistol is the only way to go for personal protection.

I voted rifle, because it can be used at both close and long range...

A shotgun is a must,
A rifle is neat,

but pistols can't be beat!

Can we stand at either ends of a football field with our perferred weapon. I think pistols can be beat

+1 for Rifle. You can use it CQ, medium range, hunting, almost any purpose except skeet.
