    I like the feel/profile of old-style checkered wood grips but I'd be interested in something with equal hand purchase that digs in less.
    You can keep the finger grooves though :D

    My little girl hands like the slim line grips. I really like the Alumagrips Tactical line. The angled checkering puts it where you need it, not where you don't. I can attest to a solid grip in the rain. They may not be the prettiest, but I like the looks on a hard working stainless gun.

    Personally I love the Springfield Milspec 1911's new grips, here are the ones that came with mine:

    I have replaced these with a standard hogue for comfort - not using my pistol as eye candy, she's practical :).

    I have a pair of these from customekillergrips and really like them as well. I'm not going to post pictures because I cant get the color to display correctly. Mine are light green and brown. Wish I had better camera skills.

    My favorite grips are pretty boring...I like the standard Colt hard rubber grips. I also have a set on my RIA compact .45.

    i have a US Army marked pistol with a set of grips from wicked grips. the left side is teh 82nd crest, and the right is jump wings. teh picture really dosent do them justice.
