    Hey team,
Here is a simple, fun project that anyone can do.. I’m going to show how to turn this small pile of stuff here:

    IMG_6931.jpg

Into this in about 3-5 minuets..

    IMG_6911-1.jpg

Lets begin with the basics. Here is the shopping list for this project, note everything was purchased at Home depot.. Again simple, easy and you’ll get hours of enjoyment out this 5 station target stand.

Your shopping list should consist of the following items:
    • (5) 1” T’s
    • (3) 1” Elbow’s
    • (2) 1” coupling
    • (1) 1” end cap
    • (3) 1 ½” to 1” T reducers
    • 9’ of 1 ½” SCH .40 PVC
    • 27’ of 1” SCH .40 PVC

Items I already had that are also included:
    • Metal wire
    • Bowling pin
    • Targets
    • Cardboard
    • Clays
    • Zip ties

Please note that NO glue was used.. You don't need it, everything fits together extremely tight, you and or your buddies will shoot it / break it and you’ll need to replace a piece, blaa, bllaaa, bblaaa.

    Builders notes:
    • Cut everything to your desired length. NOTE.. I cut my side pieces just about the same size as the main frame pieces, that way if the frame brakes I can fix it on the spot.. try to think of little things that will make your life easier..
    • Another cool thing is both sides of this stand fold to just about any location you need them to just incase there is a shooter on either side of you, when the side are folded straight back the stand becomes a 2 station without any concerns of hitting the other stations.

    • I used a Philips screwdriver to poke holes in the cardboard and then used zip ties to secure it to the frame.

That are tons other variations that you can do people, this particular one has a lot of hanging targets as my kid likes shooting at those, which allows me to concentrate on the targets..

That’s it.. petty simple. I hope someone out there gives it try..

Thanks for your time team and have a great weekend everybody

Note.. Although the weight is fun to shoot at, it is not enough to hold the platform down, you will still need to add weight to the legs so the stand doesn’t tip over in high winds..

Opening the right side to a three station stand, as they may be a shooter in the left lane, but the right lane of me is still open.

No one around, let’s open this puppy up and have some fun..

When you’re done for the day, simply throwaway the broken pieces, the cardboard and take home the rest to rebuild for another day. Rebuilding should cost about $5.00. 1 – 2 pieces of 1” x 9’ pipe at most…

Ooohh.. I’m sorry I almost forgot.. These were the high dollar, no expense spared tools used for the project..

Great post! I have been looking at different plans for multi station target assemblies. It looks like it would be easy and very affordable. I think I know what I'm doing later this week ;)

Thanks for the idea, will build one of these and take it to our next 4H shooting sports range day and see what the youth think! This may also serve as a idea for them to build as a project for the 4H Fair this year!

I just made something very similar for a local shoot 'em up this past weekend. I made a square for the bottom frame to make if a bit more stable and mounts a 1" x 6" on the top with eyes so that I could set things on the top and hang things in the middle. I made a second stand out of scrape lumber witha 2x6 on the top to set things on an eyes on either end and then a 3/4" osb backer in the middle to staple paper targets to. PVC got hit a couple of times but held up through the entire day. I had extra PVC pre-cut so I could replace any pieces that might get damaged.

    Work out very well
