    Dunno. Many of the newer military films I have seen display better discipline.
    TV shows and such are still 'finger on the trigger' almost all the time

    For the newer stuff, it seems to me to depend entirely upon the actor in question. I have seen scenes with actors using both good and bad trigger discipline on the screen at the same time. I also have noticed that the same actors seem to always be good or bad.

    I would guess it all depends upon what they have learned in their personal lives.
