I had clipless pedals over 65 years ago.
Got ya beat. Jumping a ramp. Fell off the seat when I landed. Straight on the backwheel and it sucked my junk into fork as I stuck the landing. Bike came to a screeching halt, and the screeching was meOnce I fell off the seat of my bike going pretty fast downhill and got my privates smashed on the frame rail while simultaneously getting the skin flayed off the backs of my knees by the serrated metal of the pedals that had locked in sync with the rear wheel. It'd be nice if that was the worst I ever got hurt on a bike...
