For the love of pete....where do people think treated sewage goes? Away forever...magically?

South Bend discharges from its treatment plant into the St. Joseph River which flows into Lake Michigan....where much of Northwest Indiana and Chicago get their drinking water. Heck, everyone with a well and septic system is drinking their own sewage, eventually.
