And I point that out to people.
Also, instead of Universal Background Check, I ask them if they should require a background check to sell a gun to their brother that they've known their whole life.
Then I ask them if a criminal buying a gun from a criminal is going to get a background check.
Round 3 is pointing out Indiana had UBCs for a couple decades and got rid of it because it sucked down a lot of money and yet did nothing. And other places determined the same thing.
