Socialists really don't care what happens to people as long as no one is significantly better off than anyone else. Lead in the water isn't really that bad unless the richer people don't have the same contamination.

The situation would have been handled a lot better and faster if it occurred in a wealthier town. It's sad but if it happens to a place stricken with crime and poverty, no ones going to care until it hits the media.

On one hand, socialist government (not cool). Other hand, government that lets citizens get sick and die from bad tap water just to save a buck (not really cool either).

Just read something that really underlines this. Apparently, Flint decided to save $80-100/day (and broke the law) by not treating the water which then led to corroding pipes and other problems.

This. It's 100% on the city. They didn't want to pay the cost to treat their water. It isn't the state legislature's fault, and it isn't the governor's fault. It's the city's fault for not budgeting the money for the drinking water plant.

I used to be a distributor for a chemical company, selling blended polyorthophosphates and biodispersants to drinking water plants. Flint was not one of my customers.

No this is not a joke or a photoshopped meme.

    From MRCTV:

Republican presidential candidate Ohio Gov. John Kasich has announced that if he is elected president, he will try to reunite legendary rock band Pink Floyd.

Kasich responded to a question about his favorite concert of all time, stating that it was Pink Floyd’s “The Wall.”

Kasich explained, “Roger Waters is, you know, a remarkable artist. And I saw ‘The Wall’ in Pittsburgh. It was absolutely incredible. I don’t even have to think twice. It was the best.”

“And if I’m president,” Kasich promised, “I am going to, once and for all, try to reunite Pink Floyd to come together and play a couple songs. And since we have so much trouble in America with our finances, I’m going to start with a little song they created called ‘Money.’”

Short video shown on walls of buildings in Moscow on Friday.

The Russian News Service first reported news of the video, and they offered a possible explanation:

“Coup in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine and other countries have often led to civil war, the killing of civilians and other war crimes. According to many experts, they were organized by a direct or indirect participation of American political consultants and financial aid Western NGOs, as well as directly on the orders of the US president.”
