... you think DPRK, commonly known as North Korea, is a Democracy? I doubt you do.

Democratic and democracy aren't the same thing. As to whether or not the Nazi's were true socialists well that is up for debate but the fact is the National Socialist Workers Party was referred to as the Nazi's.

    Fair enough.

The Democrat Party of the US is often mistakenly referred to as the Democratic Party, but they are far from being democratic.

    Meh.
Socialists want total government control so no evil capitalist gets rich.
Nazis want total government control so they can kill the racial or ethnic group they want to blame for all of society's ills.
They both want government power so they can attack a scapegoat, Capitalist or racial group.
I don't see much difference; both are opposed to individual freedom.

Well, they were. They were just nationalist socialists. In a large way the government (government is NEVER “the people”) controlled the means of production, which is broadly, socialism. That’s not to say that Nazis being socialist means they were left wing. Imagine what authoritarian right wing socialism would look like and that pretty well covers it. The goals of a left wing kind of socialism is equalizing people. The goals of a right wing socialism is, I would say, purity.

No, they we're not. They we're fascists. The name was chosen with purpose, to draw away support from actual socialists. The gave nods to certain socialist principles, but no more than any there nation that opposed socialism at the time.

    Thanks Obama!
It’s clear, when you listen to the speech, that he misspoke, and he was trying to promote the wisdom of the patriot act, saying there were no terrorist acts on US soil after the patriot act was passed untill Obama took office. The 8 years is inaccurate because less than 8 years passed between the patriot act and the start of Obama’s Administration. And to be fair, the terrorist acts on Obama’s watch was due to the new tactic of home grown terrorism, something that nether the Bush administration, nor the patriot act, were prepared to prevent either.

Wasnt clear to me. What is clear, is that you gave way more benefit of the doubt when people say things, than I, who tends to critique them based on their own words, with no wishful absent additions.

Fascism: authoritarian nationalism, typified by a dictator, that controls industry and commerce
Socialism: the community, typified by the government, controls industry and commerce

'Tis a fine line, but neither is really relevant to today's US political parties anyway.

The part of fascism which features government control of the means of production is socialist. Nazis DID that.

I’m not saying nazism = socialism. For all practical purposes socialism was a feature of fascism. The economy, all the way to private ownership, were at the behest of the state, as it is with practical implementations of socialism. Leftist socialists like to pretend it’s at the behest of “the people. That’s BullGLOCK. The differences were that Nazis just had a different purpose. Both systems are collectivist. And yes, there is such thing as right wing collectivism.

One small quibble. Socialism was kind of like CommunismLite, perhaps in an attempt to make it more palatable. The Socialist distinction was always said to be that the means of production were to be controlled by the workers, more like the union owns and runs the plant for the good of all workers.

We know that in practice that became a distinction without a difference, because some workers are always more equal than others

I give benefit when the context dictates. Did you watch the speech? What was he talking about? What’s the most obvious meaning you can get out if that? The one that makes for the funniest, most disparaging meme? Well. Okay. But it’s not the most honest.
