I found this political quiz intriguing.

    The Political Compass

It rates both Social and Economic views separately.

    I ended up
    Economic Left/Right: 2.00
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.49

which is a little more right than I was when I took it before the last Presidential election.

It should be interesting to see if they post a graph with the candidates running this time.

Some of the questions were a little weird. For instance, I am a social conservative, but I don't believe my point of view should be forced on people. I think that skewed it a little bit for me.

Huh, interesting results. I got some friends I would like to see take that.

The question that puzzled me most was the charity is better than social security in providing for the needy. Apples and oranges.

Took it a second time and got this result. Only changed the degree of agreement or disagreement.

    Economic Left/Right: 6.75
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.56

This political compass has fatal errors. They rate Ron Paul as a far right authoritarian. WTF?

What sequence of answers would make one a libertarian under this quiz?

Some of the questions were hard to answer with simple yes or no answers as some may have pointed out.

Pretty bad test... A lot of the questions were predicated upon first accepting that, for example; government schools should exist & that corporations should be classified as people and be given government protections.

I'm actually more socially-liberal (politically) than this test allowed me to display. My personal life is lived in a rather socially-conservative manner, however.
