Thanks for the comments. I loaded up some light 38 specials for it the other day just so the wife could try it out. Looks like she thinks it's hers now.
There is just something about a smith wheelgun with a little history. Congrats on a fine ppurchase. The grips look so good I bet he had goodyears on it for duty and then put the tragets back on when he turned it in. I love LEO's who turn in their wheelguns with the original grips! True gunmen they are.
Nice looking Sig, many LEO trade ins are diamonds in the rough. If only theyt could talk. I have a NYPD (unmarked) G-19 my wife carries, MCSD (Marion County Sheriff) IMPD (INDY) G-22's, a G-17 MPDC (Wash DC), and G-22/27 DPD (Detroit PD).
