Tampa police immediately declared that the search was legal, regardless of what was left behind in the truck.
The officer left his unique phone number if you want to chat.
If you guys had paid attention the video from the local TV station was embedded on the page as well as a link to the page on the stations website for the story and video again.

Why would PD acknowledge a legal search if they didn't actually do it?There is not, however, a clear admission that TPD actually did this. It says TPD acknlodged the serch was legal, but did they ask a generalized scenario based question , or was the question specific to this particular incident? It says the response was via email, why not post so we can see the context of the question?
Why would PD acknowledge a legal search if they didn't actually do it?
Not buying it. TPD wouldn't comment on the legality of an action they didn't take.
How does it matter?do you know what question they asked?
How does it matter?
TPD can't comment on an activity they didn't do. And I seriously doubt they would. So a comment on the legality of THAT action involving THAT truck screams involvement.
