Good article. Well written and well articulated. This kind of good sense and reason is being reported more all the time. It's this type of statement which will do us the most good as opposed to well-intentioned but frantic and angry responses.

We should remember the anti-gunners attack most vigorously when they see an opportunity. In their warped minds, nothing could provide a better opportunity than murdered children. Disgustingly sad!

I am usually in agreement with B. Bennett. One factoid I learned:

...with just one exception, the attack on U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, Arizona, in 2011, every public shooting since 1950 in the U.S. in which more than three people have been killed has taken place where citizens are not allowed to carry guns.

And Don Lemon & Soledad O'Brien. Piers, meh, not posing as a journalist, he wants to have his British opinions so be it. But the other 2 claim to be journalists and were VERY vocal about needing gun control.

I read that today as well...pleasantly surprised.

I've also been surprised at the number of people on Fox News that support an AWB. Also somewhat surprised at some of the commentators on MSNBC...still 100% disagree with anyone who supports any sort of ban, but I was expecting "no guns of any kind for anyone.". I'll get flamed for this, but Chris Matthews surprised me by actually knowing a little something about guns in general...he's not completely clueless like most commentators like I assumed he would be, and seemed to acknowledge that our side made valid points, too. Still disgusting for supporting any of this BS though.

I also watched the Piers Morgan interview with the head of GOA (I forget his name)...talk about infuriating.
