Places to shoot around Bedford

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good places to shoot around Bedford? (Ranges, etc..) I would love to do some shooting unfortunately I just don't have property that is safe to shoot, and it seems most ranges are quite a drive. Thanks!

Unfortunately there aren't many good options. You can always go out the HNF somewhere and shoot there. Or find a friend with some land and/or a range.

Huh! Sounds like Monroe County. If you want to shoot, go somewhere else and spend your money. Just can't imagine a county NOT wanting tax dollars...

You want the County Seat Fish and Game Club/South Central Gun Club.

It's east of Bedford on HWY 50 to SR 135 north almost to Freetown. Sorry, don't know the contact info, but I think they have a web presence somewhere.

Thanks, I am definitely going to check them out. I hate that there is nowhere around here to shoot. You would think with as much rural area as we have, SOMEONE would open up a range right here in Bedford.
