I had almost PM'ed you about going but my wife informed me she has a old friend coming to town Saturday. So, I am now unavaible. I have a mini-van and an Excursion and was gonna volunteer whichever would hold whatever.
Have fun and let me know how a .22 does!
I plan on going. I went last month but we shot steel instead (which was a first for me also) so If I can get out and load some ammo......I'll be there.
It will be too cold to shoot pins on Saturday.
Temperatures below 35 degrees contribute to the pins shattering and splintering too much.
We waste too many pins under cold conditions.
We will be shooting steel plates on Saturday.
We will have 3 groups of plates at various distances from the covered firing line.
This will be just for fun although we will record times.
Please note: our version of steel shooting is not like Friday Night Steel or a Steel match in Atlanta. Its much less involved.
However, we are focused on safety.
$2 per shooter to shoot the stages as many times as time allows.
We usually finish shooting before noon.
I took a route for saturday so unless it is after 5pm I won't be able to make it.
8am ...
Well I could come shoot for an hour or two........ we will have to see how the morning goes.
MCF&G Bowling Pin Shoot, setup at 8:00am, shooting begins about 8:30am, more info at Marion County Fish and Game Association, Indianapolis, Indiana
