I live down the block from Blythe's, and you didn't invite me:(
Nice lookin weapon. About the oil, I'm not very trusting. Every new firearm gets broken down, cleaned and oiled before I shoot. But maybe that's just me.
Juist don't go around waving it in the air, and yelling "I have a gun." I can, cause my neighbors are used to it.

I didn't get the chance to go to shoot it today but I did pull the slide off of it and inspect the lubrication situation haha from what i saw upon pulling the slide off was normal lubrication. It wasn't too heavily oiled. I am going to pick up some cleaning materials and a bronze brush and go through it before I shoot it just to be safe.

Sights look to be spot on as far as alignment goes.

I will post up as soon as i have some lead down range with it. I want to follow the break in procedure as I read here Breaking in a new 1911 Pistol Seems to be a legit way to do this... Any thoughts?
