Back before Rosie O was fat. The SKS and Japanese war rifles could be purchased at KMart at the sporting goods counter.

I miss those days. You will like the SKS as millions of Chinese can't be wrong.

Today we fired this weapon at Atterbury and I am 100+ satisfied, and actually very impressed by how nice a rifle this is too operate. I give it 2 thumbs up and I'll order a second one.

I won my Norinco SKS in the "Bucket Game" at the friends of the NRA quite some years ago.

I bought a $100 "bucket ticket pack", and walked out with the Norinco AND a brand new Mossberg 500 combo.

You'll get a LOT of fun out of that Norinco.

And before that they could be purchased at SS Kresge for around $10 :):

We were only shooting 50 yards at Atterbury but the rifle was a pleasure to shoot, I was surprised at how little muzzle rise it had compared to my Romanian AK47, once we got the sights dialed in, my son and I were hitting really nice 4-6" patterns with total ease, I know it was intended to shoot at a longer longer distance, but as ai mentioned, we were both totally impressed
