You don't know what dark forces you're messing with, do you?

My wife's paternal grandma was a twin.

    Wife's dad is a twin.

Wife has twin-half brothers from her mother.

talk of multiples just ain't funny! :D
Good luck with the whole twins thing. And congrats on expecting a baby!

I am an empty nester, but really enjoyed the kids, as they grew up !!!!!
    nothing else like it !!!!!
I enjoyed mine, too...as they moved out. Each time I pulled a cooler of beer to the front porch...sat and watched as they loaded their belongings into their car. When they were gone I changed the locks and garage door code...then drank myself into oblivion to celebrate.

Congratulations! Scutter would slap me upside the head right now for this... but I wish we had have had twins when our daughter was born. Then she would have at least had a sibling.

All y'all... knock it off with the twins thing, Mkay?:n00b:

If it is twins... I'll schedule an appt with the P.P.MD on their first birthday. :D

First gun.... thought about that last night, actually. It'll probably be the Ruger 22/45 that I currently have. LOL

    Congrats, OP. :yesway:

They do in my wife's family (it goes back several generations 1 set of twins ever other generation, not a single skip, miss or double), and it just happens to be her generation that is due for a set of twins... she is really hoping for twins eventually, but she/we would like to start off with one.

You'd be better off getting them with your first pregnancy. Will make every new baby after that seem like a breeze in comparison. The transition to motherhood is violent in itself. She won't even know the "extra" work multiples put on her if it's the first pregnancy, but it will become even more obvious when she has a small child running around to deal with as well and all the while she's comparing it to how "easy" her first singleton was. Just something to consider. ;)

"High" relative to what? Unless she knows exactly when she O'd and what HCG levels should be for that particular point of gestation, it doesn't mean much.
