Phone harassment

I usually listen to what they have to say, act interested, get information, and at the end, tell them that I will be filing litigation against them for harassment.

They usually don't call back after that.

if i have the time, I can keep them on the phone for :45 minutes just acting like I'm interested. Every now and then I can get a REAL callback number. I file an online complaint with the INSOS and give them the callback number.

Just as one of those random FYIs, the most obnoxious telemarketer I ever dealt with was the Better Business Bureau.

At first I thought it was a scammer because the person on the phone was pushing very hard to get the company I owned to join the BBB and was even trying to give me checking account and routing numbers to do a check by phone (you know, all those warnings say never give such information out to anyone you didn't initiate the call to). I was SURE it was some scammer so I was playing with them, saying I'd need an invoice by mail (now making it mail fraud) etc, etc. I got their phone number, extension, and a name and said that I would call them back once I had checked with the "owner" of the company (I always answer just as the general manager to folks so I can "go up the chain").

So I checked with the BBB office by calling their published number, asked for that extension, and it turns out that the person who called WAS actually a BBB employee and that their sales pitch was legitimate. But it passed every "this is a scam" test I knew, and a few days later I got a mail package and invoice from the BBB.

Needless to say, our company didn't join, and I lost all respect I previously had for the BBB.

About six months later I got another hard sales pitch from them (different person) and I told them to sod off.

is this the penis pill company? i'm ready to give my satisfied customer testimonial. you recording? ok, 3, 2, 1, before i bought my first bottle of jackhammer 3000, my girlfriend used to be unsatisfied with our sex life. it used to take a roll of aluminum foil, a 9-volt battery, and a tape of last year's kentucky derby just to- hello? you still there?

Had one call on our unlisted company line for our garage. Person on the line wanted to help me refinance my house. Told my brother and he took over the call. He let the guy explain everything and said he was honestly interested because his interest rate was much higher than theirs. He then told them he seriously had 13 rental houses needing refinanced. They hung up, lol! He truly did have that many rentals, now he's up to 18.

I usually tell them I'm Amish and don't believe in that type of stuff (whatever they are calling about). That usually gets a hangup.

Next time they call tell them to hold for a min. then get on the net and pull up some porn and turn the vol. up then get back on the phone and let them listen .... lol Then see how long they listen, if they stay on the line till the end ask if they think she liked it ? O' breath heavy too at the end.... lmao..... They may call back ? roflmao
