Got a FA AKM in from Doug Oefinger of DLO fame about a week ago.

His Form 4 was received June 22nd and approved July 23rd.....

My guess is that because he is a former 02 SOT and is sitting on hundreds of transferable MG's that they pretty much treat him like a dealer/Form 3 when he is selling to dealers.

I know when I buy from someone "normal" on a Form 4 it pretty much takes the whole 6 months+ for me to get it in.

Well, I'm a "normal" guy, and when I sold my AC556 to a dealer in Montana, the Form 4 to him took about 5 weeks. Maybe I've done enough transfers that they treat me like a dealer.

My form 4 for transfer to Beach Grove arrived at the ATF three weeks ago. I've read anecdotes about it being 30-45 days, but I've also heard 5 months.

Is it know how many examiners there are?
