Dude, I want the "How to kill a zombie box" seriously - want to sell it or paint one for me?

I'll pay for materials and labor, that's just awesome.

Thats great work! I need to paint one of my rifles. What paint did you use on yours? What holds up well when the rifle heats up?

I'm looking forwards to seeing the Tweety Bird!

Yeah the tweety bird one should be cool too..

    I’m glad you like it

    Thanks again for your time

Nice work, what kind of finish is that on the rifle?

    Hey thank you..
The rifle is all DuraCoat with a DuraCoat flat matte finish.. Some people use regular spray paint, but I use only DuraCoat on firearms.. Or you can use Createx and do a temp tat too.. either way works..

    Have a great one

    nice work!

Hey thank you Shadow.. much appreciate the kind words..

Thank you… it was a fun one to do up.. Sure.. Just send me your can and pay the returned shipping and it’s $75.00.. if I need to supply the can and ship it out, well then it’s closer to $100.00.. Sorry I’m still paying top dollar for cans until the next gun show is around.. I can also make up a stencil of your rifle and use it in the pic as well as add your user name too if you want..

Regardless.. I’m glad you like it..

    Thanks..

    Thanks Sir…
If your going to paint up a rifle IMO you would want to use DuraCoat if you want it to last.. Please feel free to PM me and I’ll be more than happy to talk you through the process… it is a little involved but it’s worth the time IMO.. However if your just looking for something fun (temp tat) for your firearm so to speak.. Then use Createx paint.. It water soluble and wipes off the gun with the proper reducer without leaving any signs it was ever one..

Here’s an example of a temp tat for a firearm.. this is my RFB, I know I wanted something but what.. Well here’s my attempt at a WW II theme.. I didn’t like it after it was all done and I simply wiped it off a few days later.. or just leave it alone (don't clear it) and it will all wipe off under normal wear and tear after a few trips to the range..

I just wiped off what I didn’t like..

    IMG_7323.jpg

Don't get me wrong, I’m not keeping any of it, but since I’m done painting on it for now, I’m just leaving what’s left and it will all wear off on its own..

    As for Heat:
DuraCoat is good up to 600 degrees, so no worries.. Regular spray paint will just turn black after its heats up, but is a total ***** to remove at that point as you have now baked it on..

Good luck to you sir and please post pics of your painting project..

    P.S.

Just curious, what brought you to INGO? Do you have roots in Indiana? Regardless, glad to have you here!
