Good afternoon everyone. Sunny, dry, breezy, & cool. At least no frost/freeze on the horizon as of yet.

Haven’t seen hummingbirds for a while so took down feeders. Spent time scraping a crap load of zebra mussels off wife’s paddle boat. Planning on taking some summer stuff to storage and maybe bring back leaf collection attachments, the time is approaching. Planning to mow this afternoon.

Time to find some grub. Wife is gone for the day. Don’t feel like fixing lunch. Have to run by bank sometime so considering combining that with a lunch stop somewhere.

Dogs went out about 6:30. Small dog always comes right back in. Big dog has been spending 1 or 2 or more hours out before coming back. Take a leak, drops a deuce, does a lap of perimeter check, then lays down on patio edge. This morning saw her still in edge of grass about 8:30. 5 minutes later saw her out by first big tree looking down, pawed at lawn once, walked 10’ and laid down. Went out to look where she pawed. Hadn’t heard a bark or any noise but



She just watched me. Disposed out it, headed back in, and she followed. Must have know it was up the tree since early morning and just waited until it tried to come down and sneak off. Fatal mistake.
